We are so grateful for everyone who has registered to “adopt” children served by our food pantry to purchase holiday gifts for them. We are in awe at how quickly donors registered to sponsor the 1,000 children we will serve this year. We recognize that some sponsors weren’t able to get in touch with us in time to purchase holiday gifts. Thank you for your willingness, we still need your help. Another way to support local children in need this holiday season is by donating books to our food pantry. Each year we distribute 15,000+ books to the children age 12 and under that we serve. We also welcome donations of gently used children’s books. They can be dropped off at our food pantry Monday-Friday from 12:30-3pm and until 7pm on Tuesday evenings.
