Interfaith Social Service’s Privacy Policy
WE APPRECIATE YOUR SUPPORT AND VALUE YOUR PRIVACY
The dedication and trust of our volunteers, donors and other people or entities that provide support to our organization is vital to us. This includes the trust that we will keep the information you provide to us secure and treat it confidentially.
This privacy policy was created in order to demonstrate Interfaith’s commitment to the privacy of our donors, volunteers and website users. This policy provides a lot of information about our privacy commitment but we also sum it up here:
We will not sell, share, rent or trade our donors’ names or personal information with any other charitable organization or other outside entity, nor send solicitations or communications to our donors on behalf of any other organization.
This policy applies to all information received by Interfaith Social Services, both online and offline, on any Platform (which includes the Interfaith website and mobile applications), as well as any other electronic, written, or oral communications. To the extent any donations are processed through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation and the service providers are contractually obligated to abide by this policy.
OUR PRIVACY PLEDGE
Interfaith Social Services has an IT security program in place that is executed by an IT managed services company (“IT Service Provider”). We, and the IT Service Provider, are committed to keeping your information confidential and secure. In conjunction with the IT Service Provider:
- We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.
- We restrict access to your nonpublic personal information to those employees, or other contracted service providers, who need to know it in order to process donations, volunteering or services we provide, and we train our employees on how to handle and protect that information.
- We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about you to any affiliate or non-affiliated third party other than those required by law or to run our nonprofit organization such as transacting donations, volunteering or the services we provide.
IT SERVICE PROVIDER SERVICES
The IT Service Provider performs certain IT services on our behalf to keep your information confidential:

• Network security including wireless
• External vulnerability scans performed monthly
• Monthly IT attestation report of services provided that is reviewed by the Executive Director
Interfaith's donor records are stored in a cloud based CRM called Bloomerang.

- Directly from you such as your name, address, telephone number, and payment information. You may provide such information by using our website (https://interfaithsocialservices.org), by signing up to receive Interfaith e-communications or to volunteer, and/or make a donation.
- From Cookies similar to most websites, Interfaithsocialservices.org uses "cookie" messages to improve your use of our website. Cookies inform Interfaith of your identity and your preferences for our website based on your prior usage. The "cookie" is placed in your computer and is read when you come back to our website. Cookies expedite our ability to provide you with the information and features of particular interest to you. - Third parties who perform professional, insurance, or business functions for us. For example, our IT Service Provider provides web services for us and we require them contractually to abide by this policy.
- Regulatory authorities, law enforcement agencies, governmental authorities if required, other authorized persons or institutions to protect our legal interests, detect or prevent fraud or criminal activity, or as otherwise permitted or required by law.

Within 30 business days of receiving a request, we will provide you the nature of the recorded personal information that we have about you. After you have reviewed your information, you can contact us if you believe that any of it should be corrected or deleted.
We reserve the right to make changes or edits to this policy. We will post such changes at least thirty (30) days prior to implementation, so please read this policy periodically.
