Helping pets and owners stay together
In addition to meeting the needs of the humans in their households, many families on the South Shore are also doing their best to care for their pets. People often share their own limited food resources with their pets and sometimes feel that pet surrender is their only option.
For many years, we partnered with the South Shore Pet Food Pantry (SSPFP) to provide supplemental cat and dog food assistance to clients. Unfortunately, as of Nov. 1, 2025, they have closed their operations.
We are now partnering with the City of Quincy Animal Care Center and their new Pet Food Bank. Interfaith's food pantry clients can receive pet food on each visit, when available.
Pet Food Donations
We encourage donors to give pet food donations to the Quincy Animal Care Center Pet Food Bank. Please contact Brett Hale at (617) 376-1147 to schedule the donation.
