Help local students start off on the right foot in September
Our food pantry serves about 900 school-age children each month. Every August we distribute backpacks full of school supplies to the children of our food pantry clients. This initiative emphasizes the importance of education, defrays an additional cost faced by our clients, and helps kids start the year right.
We need your help! Please consider donating NEW school supplies or making a monetary donation to support this effort.

How Can I Help?
Fill a backpack with these supplies and deliver it to Interfaith. Backpacks are needed for both primary age (4-8) and older students (age 9-18).
Primary School Backpack (for ages 4-8)
- 17" backpack (bright colors and novelty prints encouraged)
- 4 plastic pocket folders
- 1 primary journal/composition book
- 1 box Crayola crayons - 24 count
- 1 package dry erase markers
- 1 package Crayola waterproof markers - 12 count
- 1 glue stick
- 1 package pencils - 12 count
- 1 package Crayola colored pencils - 12 count
- 1 pink eraser
Standard Backpack (for ages 9-18)
- 17" backpack (any color)
- 4 spiral notebooks
- 4 plastic pocket folders
- 1 package #2 pencils (6 count)
- 1 package Crayola colored pencils (12 count)
- 1 pink eraser
- 1 pack markers (6-12 count)
- 1 glue stick
- 2 highlighters
- 1 package Crayola crayons (12 count)
